Toodles Day: FIGHT!

Doodle Tuesday presents: FIGHT SCENE!

Okay, I hear you-- you're sitting around your patio looking at all this snow and you suddenly want to draw two guys beating the snot out of each other, that's only natural.  Here are a few tips to help you out:

EXAMPLE A
In Example A we have two guys engaging in fisticuffs.  This is the real way two people fight.  I studied boxing for many years, I know of what I speak.  The problem with this version is it lacks drama.  Just because it's real doesn't mean it's right.

EXAMPLE B
This take is more exciting while maintaining realism.  The change here is the Point of View-- we no see it from behind one of the fighters and we can almost feel him taking the punch.

EXAMPLE C
The final example is exaggerated in a more Comic Book way-- the character to the left is almost getting his block knocked off and the one on the right has his arm in a position that wouldn't actually work but it does add drama.  Either B or C is a good choice, and it's merely an artistic decision as to which one would be used.
