Dracula, Vampires and Werewolves- oh my!

Once upon a time Vampires didn't sparkle and werewolves kept their (torn) shirts on.  Thanks to TWILIGHT a lot of that has changed, but not for me.

It didn't start with them by any means, 1992's BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA by Francis Ford Coppola unhinged the vampire king by making him a love lorn man from another time searching only for his lost Elisabeth.  Ironic that they called it Bram Stoker's Dracula because Stoker's original novel portrays the Count as a bloodthirsty world conqueror more in common with Genghis Khan than John Lennon (which is what they based Gary Oldman's portrayal on in the film).

My intention with doing Dracula as a graphic novel is to actually adapt Stoker's novel and create a frightening Count whose only goal is to spread his vampire plague over Europe.
