Possibly the best version of Edgar Rice Burrough's TARZAN ever put to film-- albeit it's a television series so it does make some changes-- Ron Ely makes a great Ape Man and plays it more as Lord Greystoke than as a mumbling brute.
The series ran on NBC from 1966-1969 and fortunately plays it straight-- and keep in mind this is the era of the BATMAN TV series so we could have had a really silly take on a great character here.
