I always assumed the poster for THE BATWOMAN (1968) from Mexico was just a painted version of the horrendous WILD WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN which was covered on Mystery Science Theater 3000 many years ago-- and it was the early MST3K days so it wasn't funny as those early ones can be hit or miss.
Instead, THE BATWOMAN (1968) from Mexico is possibly the greatest version of Batman ever filmed. Take Adam West's Batman mask and cape and stick it on a bikini model and you've got the gist of this Mexican adventure film. Hilariously bad but yet there is some charm to it.
I love 60s spy era films, the bright vibrant colors, the jazzy scores, and this one is pretty good for a Mexican import. I especially dig the gill monster men the mad scientists are attempting to create.
