AgglomerationMegan McNaught and Luke Buffenmyer
On view now through June 30th, 2015
The Hadley, 657 Main Street
On Friday, February 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00PM, please join us at The Hadley Building (across the street from the Aurora) to celebrate the opening of Agglomeration, an exhibition of collaborative mixed-media artwork by Megan McNaught and Luke Buffenmyer. The reception is open and free to the public, and takes place in conjunction with the Eleventh Annual College Show.
McNaught and Buffenmyer began collaborating as a creative exercise in experimentation, using oil, acrylic, charcoal, graphite and pastel. Their individual styles--McNaught’s, accumulative, rigorous and repetitive, and Buffenmyer’s, varied and whimsical--challenge and complement each other, yielding unexpected results. The conversation between their understandings of the visual world draws out new perceptions and informs their non-collaborative works.
This exhibit is on view now through June. Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12:00-4:00PM, or by appointment.
