JFK Assassination 50 years later
I like JFK-- I wasn't alive when he was president and it's fifty years ago today he was assassinated. Most of his whole family suffered some incredible tragedy-- and there is a train of thought that says it links back to the bad Karma Joe Kennedy Sr earned over the course of building the Kennedy fortune.
Joe Kennedy Jr died during WWII- the families first real hope for president.
JFK died in office.
Bobby Kennedy died while running for president after he was shot in Los Angeles.
JFK Jr. died flying his wife and her sister home in their private plane.
Teddy Kennedy died after suffering from brain cancer-- not a good way to go.
There is something to be said for the Karma thing.
But today I remember President Kennedy as a man who inspired a nation.
