I've gone out on Black Friday excursions in the past when my brother and I would accept a challenge from Mom or my sister to get something on someone's list. It was more about having the day off and the thrill of the hunt then it was about saving money.
In actuality you'll save a lot more shopping online than you will fighting crowds at the mall. So my days of Black Friday shopping are long over, like mountain climbing and sky diving, no interest in going back.
