VAMPIRE TALES is an old Marvel Comics Horror Magazine title from the 70s. After the explosion of popularity Marvel earned in the 1960s Stan Lee wanted to expand the Marvel Empire and he thought he might attract a more adult audience by branching out into BW magazines to mimic the success Warren Publishing was having with Eerie and Creepy Magazines.
VAMPIRE TALES was one of them, and features the work of some notable creators from the period. I picked this up and it was extremely entertaining-- I was happy to see they even reprinted the articles from the magazine.
Volume Two was just released this past week, and deserves the support of any horror or comics fan.
