Great Pumpkin Fest 2013
The biggest Halloween celebration for families in Central Massachusetts!
Saturday, October 19, Noon - 9 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon and evening of family-friendly Halloween fun, including:
Creative displays of hundreds of carved pumpkins, lit after dark
Free hay and train rides
Free digital planetarium shows
Spooktacular science programs
Pumpkin-carving demonstration
Costume parade
Games and entertainment
And lots more!
Friendly Halloween costumes are encouraged! Bring a flashlight to light your way at night and be sure to dress for the weather. This event takes place rain or shine.
Refreshments
Light dinner items, snacks, and festival foods will be available for purchase throughout the event. In addition, picnicking is welcome on the EcoTarium grounds. Beverage vending machines are available at the Train Station and Sundial Plaza; beverage and snack vending machines are available inside the museum on the Middle Level.
Parking
Free parking is available on the EcoTarium property as space allows. Since Great Pumpkin Fest is a very busy event, be prepared to park off-site and to walk to the museum.
Please note that regular EcoTarium admission fees and hours do not apply on October 19th. The museum is open from noon to 9 p.m. for Great Pumpkin Fest only.
