Unfortunately, the flu shot is only 55% effective, and that's according to the US Government. I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I don't let the government inject me with anything.
I take my chances, most years I don't get sick, and what I had this year-- the Norovirus, is not affected by the vaccine so I would have gotten it anyway.
