Judge Dredd Comics Recommendation

Got an email from a bloke who like me, wanted to like DREDD (2012) which unfortunately was more akin to DRECK.  He liked the Stallone film too, but had never read the comics and wanted to know if there was a good place to start.

Yuuup.

Brian Bolland is THE Dredd artist.

THE COMPLETE BRIAN BOLLAND JUDGE DREDD is brilliant.
Keep in mind, Dredd was a weekly so therefore you may not get complete stories here.  BUT you will get the Judge Death storyline in full-- and that's all you need because without question its the best Dredd saga ever done.

Don't panic that Amazon has it under review, the problem is they listed it as color and it is not, and that got a lot of fanboys panties in a bunch who didn't know Dredd was only in color when he was reprinted here in America.  The black and white lets you see Bolland's work better.
