In 1943 a Film Studio would NEVER have considered making a big budget Batman film-- after all the character was only 4 years old at the time, but Columbia (who was known for making inexpensive films) did release a 15 Chapter Serial featuring Batman as well as a vampire film where Bela Lugosi plays a very DRACULAish character called RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE-- so it might have been technically possible for them to make this movie.
The poster is bright full color, and done in the spirit of movie lobby cards of the time.
