If you're into pop culture, comic books or movies-- New York Comic Con starts this weekend and runs from Thursday Oct 11 - through Sunday Oct 14th.
I forgot to get my pro passes (you have to register early) so I'll be sitting this one out, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go. Second only to San Diego and some say--- BIGGER and BETTER because it's focus is MORE about comics-- although the full cast from AMC's THE WALKING DEAD will be there so I don't know how accurate that sentiment is.
But it's a great show-- and if you want to experience one of the big boys-- and no slight to the Boston Comic Con-- THIS is a comic book convention.
