GREAT BATMAN ARTISTS #11; Norm Saunders
The only artist on the list who never actually drew any Batman comics-- Norm Saunders instead provided the art for a series of painted trading cards in 1966 that featured stunning art which rivaled his more well known MARS ATTACKS Series.
Saunders had been an artist on Pulp Magazine characters like The Shadow, so making the jump to Batman didn't seem unreasonable.
Done during the height of the Batman TV series the cards reflected a more serious tone that showed us what a Batman pulp might have been.
