A look at the best Batman Artists continues
Gene Colan made a name for himself on DRACULA and DAREDEVIL over at Marvel in the 60s and 70s so it's only natural that when he came over to DC Comics the powers that be put him on Batman-- who is a combination of both characters.
Colan's work on Batman was human but mysterious. He's got his detractors who don't like his soft line, but I'm not one of them. Absolutely one of the greats and his work on Batman has been collected in a deluxe hardcover edition.
